• We will arrive at the clubhouse before you finish the 18th hole.

The “Patong Hill” Challenge

The road from Kathu to Patong is steep and winding. It is the ultimate test for your alternator and battery.

• Uphill: High RPMs demand consistent voltage for the spark plugs and ECU. A weak battery can cause “stuttering” or misfires under load.
• Traffic: Use of brakes and A/C while stuck on the hill drains the battery if the alternator isn’t spinning fast enough (idle traffic).
• Warning: If your battery light flickers while climbing Patong Hill, DO NOT STOP on the hill if possible. Try to crest the hill and coast down to the Caltex station or the Go-Kart track. Then call us. Stopping on a steep incline makes it very dangerous for us to work on your car.

Kathu is a residential area, not a tourist trap. Our prices reflect that. Prices include delivery, installation, and trade-in of old battery.

Note: For Mazda SkyActiv and vehicles with “Idling Stop” systems, you MUST use Q85 or EFB batteries. Using a standard battery will damage your car’s electrical system and void the warranty.

1. Duty Free (King Power): Just down the road. (AC is cold!).
2. Andamanda Water Park: Getting stuck near here is actually lucky.
3. Local Markets: The Fresh Market (Talad Kathu) has the best local prices for fruit in Phuket.

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can you enter my Condo car park? A: Yes. We deal with dCondo, The Base, and Phanason daily. We just need you to inform security that “Battery Service” is coming.

Q: Do you accept credit cards? A: Yes, we accept Visa/Mastercard (3% bank charge) or Thai QR Payment (Free).

Q: My car is hybrid (Camry Hybrid/Haval), do you change the big battery? A: We change the 12V Auxiliary Battery (the one that starts the system and powers the lights). We do not change the high-voltage traction battery (that requires the dealership). But 90% of “dead hybrid” cases are just the small 12V battery being dead!
