Stranded? Don’t Panic. Help is 20 Minutes Away.
Driving in a foreign country can be stressful, especially when things go wrong late at night. If you are stuck on the side of the road in Phuket because your car won’t start, EV Phuket is your emergency lifeline. We are not just a battery shop; we are a Rapid Response Rescue Team dedicated to getting tourists and expats back on the road safely, day or night.
Emergency Hotline (English): 098-168-9907
Our Emergency Services
We handle the most common “non-accident” breakdown issues. (Note: If you have a serious crash with injuries, please call the Tourist Police at 1155 or Ambulance at 1669 immediately.)
1. Battery Jump Start (Dead Battery)
- Scenario: You left the headlights on while dining at Patong Beach, or the rental car battery just died.
- Service: We arrive with a powerful Capacitor Jump Starter. It works instantly, even for big SUVs or Diesel pickup trucks.
- Safety: Much safer than asking a stranger to use jumper cables, which can fry your car’s computer if connected wrong.
2. Emergency Battery Replacement
- Scenario: The battery is too old or damaged to hold a charge (jump start doesn’t last).
- Service: Our technicians carry brand new batteries in their service vehicles. We can test and swap it right there on the roadside.
3. Alternator & Charging System Check
- Scenario: The car starts but dies again immediately.
- Service: We diagnose whether it is the battery or the alternator. If it turns out to be a mechanical failure, we tell you straight and point you to a reputable garage — but we do not carry out that repair or provide towing ourselves.
Special Advice for “Rental Car” Drivers
A huge number of our calls come from tourists in rental cars (Toyota Vios, Yaris, Fortuner). If your rental car won’t start:
- Check your Rental Agreement: Does it include roadside assistance?
- Reality Check: Many small local rental shops DO NOT have 24-hour support. You might call them at 10 PM and get no answer.
- Call Us First: Instead of waiting until morning (and ruining your holiday plans), call us.
- Keep the Receipt: We issue a formal receipt with our Tax ID. You can present this to the rental company to claim the cost back (since a dead battery is usually the owner’s responsibility, not yours).
Don’t let a bad battery ruin your vacation. For a small fee (starting at 300-500 THB), we get you moving again instantly.

Safety First: What to Do While Waiting
If you break down on a busy road (like the Bypass Road or Thepkrasattri Road):
- Get to Safety: Try to coast the vehicle to the shoulder or a gas station.
- Turn on Hazards: Activate your “Emergency Flashers” immediately.
- Stay Inside (or clear of traffic): If it’s a high-speed road, stay in the car with seatbelt on, or stand well behind the crash barrier. Do not stand in front of or behind the car.
- Send Location: Use WhatsApp or Line to send us your precise GPS location. This is crucial for us to find you quickly in the dark.

⚠️ What We Do NOT Do (please read before calling)
So you don’t waste time waiting for the wrong service, here is what we do not handle:
| We don’t do this | Who to call instead |
|---|---|
| Tyre change, punctures, flat tyres | A tyre shop or mobile tyre repair service |
| Emergency fuel delivery | The nearest petrol station |
| Towing, slide car, recovery trucks | A towing company, or your first-class insurer (towing is often included free) |
| Vehicle stuck in mud, sand or off-road | Local rescue services or a recovery truck with a winch |
| Lockouts, keys locked inside | An automotive locksmith |
| Engine, brake, suspension or air-con repair | A general garage |
| Motorcycle batteries | A motorcycle battery shop (we service cars only) |
| Electric wheelchair or medical device batteries | A medical equipment supplier |
| Accidents with injuries | Call 1669 (ambulance) and 191 (police) immediately |
We specialise in car batteries and electrical systems — and we’d rather do that one thing properly than take on everything and do it badly.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Do you accept Credit Cards on the roadside?
A: Yes, our technicians carry portable card machines (visa/mastercard). Cash and Thai QR Payment are also welcome.
Q: I am locked out of my car
A: That is not something we handle — we work on batteries and starting systems only. You will need an automotive locksmith.
Q: My car is in a hotel basement. Can you enter?
A: Yes, just inform the hotel security that “Battery Service” is coming. They usually allow us priority access to the car park.
