Check your Rental Agreement: Does it include roadside assistance?
- Reality Check: Many small local rental shops DO NOT have 24-hour support. You might call them at 10 PM and get no answer.

Insurance & Towing: What You Need to Know

If your car breakdown is more serious than a dead battery (e.g., transmission failure, broken axle), you might need a tow truck. EV Phuket partners with the most reputable “Slide Car” (Flatbed Towing) services on the island.

Slide Car vs. Tow Truck:
- We always recommend a Slide Car (where the car rides on top of the truck bed). It is safer for your transmission and 4WD system than being dragged behind a truck.
- Price for Slide Car in Phuket: Starts from 1,500 - 2,500 THB depending on distance.
Insurance Claims:
- If you have First Class Insurance (Gor Gai 1), roadside assistance and towing are often included for free!
