PK Generation (2006-2011):

- High CCA for diesel engine

T6 Generation (2012-2021):
- Uses DIN80 or N70 battery
- Some Wildtrak variants have Start-Stop
- If has Start-Stop, use EFB DIN80
T6 Minor Change (2022-Present):
- Uses DIN80 or N70 battery
- Wildtrak and Raptor have Start-Stop
- Must use EFB DIN80
How to Check if Ranger Has Start-Stop
PK Generation (2006-2011):
- No Start-Stop
- Can use standard battery
T6 Generation (2012-2021):
- XLT, XL variants don’t have
- Some Wildtrak variants have
- Check Start-Stop button on dashboard
T6 Minor Change (2022+):
- Wildtrak and Raptor have
- XLT, XL don’t have
Simple Observation:
- If engine stops automatically when parked = has Start-Stop
- If engine doesn’t stop = no Start-Stop
